Welcome to Glass cottages Iceland. We are located on a lava desert in the south of Iceland. 5 minutes from the small town of Hella, close to all the popular attractions that southern Iceland has to offer, but also in a secret and secluded location. The space The experience we offer is unique. The bedroom is entirely made of glass, You can sleep under the stars in comfort and warmth. The bathroom offers views of the largest Icelandic volcanoes, Hekla, eyjafjallajökull, bláfjöll, tindfjöll… There is a fully equipped kitchen with luxury dishes and appliances. Oven, Fridge, induction hob, espresso machine, kettle, toaster. And also a private hot tub and a terrace. Other things to note Glass Cottages is a small family company. We are surrounded by 500 hectares of natural lava fields, Glass Cottages is a unique glass house dedicated to showcasing nature, the sky and ethical luxury. More than a synthesis of tastes, the cottages offer the perfect antidote to the frantic pace of modern living. We want to offer an extraordinary experience for our guests. Being in the heart of a lava desert, in an ecological cottage made of glass and wood. Feel outside with the comfort of being inside. Our inspiration is ecology and respect for nature. The land is a paradise for birds of all species as we forbid any type of hunting. The furniture was made from driftwood collected from the beaches of ísafjörður. The cushions are hand-knitted, the wool dyed with natural products, comes from a rescue sheep farm. The cottages consume almost nothing, the sun during the day serving as the main source of heat.
